The Colorado Pumpkin Patch

The Colorado Pumpkin Patch invites students to visit this season. Teachers are free and school group rates are $6 per child, which includes a pumpkin for each child.

HOPE Warehouse

The HOPE warehouse has free furniture (file cabinets, tables and chairs), books and clothing. Furniture and books are for use at Learning Centers. Clothing is for HOPE students in need. Contact Melanie Stone at 720-402-3016 to make an appointment to visit the warehouse.

 

Internet for HOPE Families

August 27, 2012

Internet Essentials will provide broadband Internet at $10 a month.  To qualify, families must have at least one child in grade k-12 who qualifies for free lunch under the federal program. The Internet program is not available to students eligible for reduced-cost lunches. Families can enroll in the Internet program through the 2013-14 school year and continue to participate so long as they have a student in the free-lunch program.

DCSD Staff Resource Trainings

The Douglas County School District Center for Professional Development offers Staff Resource Trainings.  Content areas include behavior management, autism, literacy, math, technology and team building. The Staff Resource Trainings are open to all HOPE and Learning Center staff and will begin September 10, 2012.
