HOPE Spring Field Day 2016

We are excited to announce our Spring Field Days for our students! These are free events.

Our first Spring Field Day is Friday, May 6th, for our Pueblo Learning Centers. The event will be at Bruner Park in Pueblo, which is across the street from our Cornerstone Learning Center. It will include a picnic lunch as well as obstacle courses, games and TONS OF FUN! All ages are invited to participate.

Spirit Week 2016

HOPE's annual Spirit Week will take place May 2nd-6th. All students and staff are encouraged to participate! This happens to coincide with Teacher Appreciation Week as well. The week will start with College Gear Day and will conclude with HOPE Pride Day. We will also hold a Spirit Team Competition on Tuesday evening, May 3rd.

Arts Across Cultures presents "Where's the WORD?" at the Denver Art Museum

Announcing the end of the year performance for HOPE's Arts Across Cultures program. This is a year-round arts program at two HOPE Learning Centers in Denver, Victory at Hillcrest and I AM. Throughout the year, students in K-12th grades have had the opportunity to meet and work with local artists in a variety of mediums from dance to music and visual arts. This performance will showcase their learning throughout the last year. We hope you can join us!

HOPE Hollywood Prom 2016

One of the most anticipated events for our high schoolers is right around the corner! The 2016 HOPE Hollywood Prom will be on Friday night, April 29th (please note the date change from previously published information).

High School Fun Day 2016

We are excited about our annual High School Fun Day, which will be held on Thursday, March 10th, from 10 a.m. to noon. This is a free event and will be held at Jump City in Westminster. A light lunch will also be served.

Please talk with your HOPE Learning Center for more information on how to register for this can't miss event. Transportation will be the responsibility of Learning Centers. We look forward to seeing you there! 

 

Science Expo 2016

HOPE students in 3rd through 12th grades will be participating in the annual HOPE Science Expo at the HOPE offices in Englewood on Feb. 25th. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and each HOPE Learning Center will be sending their top student projects to compete. This is a great hands on learning opportunity for our students to explore the world around them and discover about how science is part of our daily lives. It is run similarly to a school science fair. 

We can't wait to see what our HOPE student scientists present at the Science Expo!

2nd Annual SLAM Poetry Event

HOPE's second annual SLAM Poetry Competition will be held on Thursday, Feb. 11th. This is open to our middle and high school students who love to write and share their work with others

Court of Dreams 2016

The HOPE High School Boys' Basketball Teams and Cheer Team will be participating in the 8th annual Charter School Court of Dreams Tournament on Wednesday, March 2nd, at the Pepsi Center. The tournament is from 1-5 p.m., followed by a Denver Nuggets game at 7 p.m. (The Nuggets take on the Lakers in Kobe Bryant's last game in Denver.)

HOPE Senior Day 2016

HOPE seniors are invited to Senior Day on Jan. 14th at HOPE offices. This is an event which is held yearly and will help seniors in making post-graduation plans. In addition to senior photos and graduation day discussion, the 2016 event will include interactive workshops and a HOPE alumni panel discussion.
