HOPE is thankful to the Colorado community for their generosity this holiday season! With their help, we were able to provide holiday gifts to more than 500 HOPE students or their siblings who needed assistance. There were hundreds of local donors and volunteers to this project. They included AssuredPartners Colorado, Centennial Leasing & Sales, Douglas County School District, Pax8 (adopted 183 children), Valor Christian High School and Community, McAuliffe International School Denver Public Schools, Girl Scouts of Colorado, Comcast, IMCA, Toys for Tots, Wheat Ridge Youth Football, local fitness groups, Communications Strategy Group, Athleta, Dozens of Private Donors and Businesses (including many in Douglas County), and friends, family, staff, vendors and board members of HOPE and our Learning Center partners.

This is one of the many projects HOPE does throughout the year to support our students and their families. HOPE’s learning model is focused on collaborating with stakeholders to build stronger communities. We believe that academic progress can be made when you also support the social and emotional needs of students and their families.

There were many within our HOPE and Learning Center community who helped with the organization, wrapping, shopping and delivery of the gifts. However, the BIGGEST thank you goes to Miss. Kristin with HOPE. She was the mastermind behind the whole 2018 program, and we truly appreciate the passion she put into this project. Happy Holidays, everyone!!
