There’s a certain quiet that settles in during the final days of a school year—not always in hallways or classrooms, but in inboxes, learning sites, and login screens. Whether learning happened face-to-face or through a screen, the pace begins to slow. Final assignments are submitted. Daily routines shift. And the familiar rhythm gives way to a different kind of energy—one filled with reflection, anticipation, and pride. This year, that feeling runs even deeper. Because this year, we mark twenty years of HOPE graduates— Twenty years of students reaching a moment that, for many, once felt impossibly out of reach. Graduation at HOPE is never just a formality. It’s a milestone that carries weight—a symbol of persistence, sacrifice, and belief. A moment our graduates will carry with them for the rest of their lives, and an achievement that no one can ever take away. Behind every cap and gown is a unique story—one shaped by determination, growth, and the quiet strength it takes to keep moving forward. For some, this moment represents a family’s first high school graduate. For others, it came after finding the right fit, the right rhythm, or the right kind of support. Whether this moment has been years in the making or the result of a recent turning point, the significance is the same. To walk across that stage is to carry not only their own hopes, but the hopes of those who’ve walked beside them. It is proof of something greater—that growth is possible, that success can look different for every learner, and that with the right support, the future can still be shaped. This year’s Class of 2025 embodies that truth. They are learners, caretakers, artists, advocates, and go-getters. Their strength isn’t found in perfection, but in persistence—in showing up again and again, even when the world around them felt uncertain. To graduate from HOPE is never just to finish a chapter, but to write a new story. And what an extraordinary story this class has written. A Year of Resilience If there were one word to capture this school year, it would be resilience—not as a ‘buzz word’, but in its truest form: the quiet, daily courage to keep showing up when things feel uncertain, overwhelming, or heavy. This year brought a great deal of change—some of it structural, some deeply personal. Across our HOPE community, students and families navigated shifting circumstances that reached beyond the classroom. For many, this year wasn’t just about academics. It was about holding steady while the world around them seemed to shift beneath their feet. For many in our community, this year brought with it an added weight—the kind that’s hard to name but easy to feel. And still—our students showed up. So did their families, mentors, and learning site staff. HOPE has never been just about finishing coursework. It has always been about people. Relationships. Trust. And belief—especially when it’s hardest to hold on to. Mentors and teachers opened the doors to their hearts; they listened deeply and without judgment. Students stood up for one another with quiet bravery and fierce kindness. Families leaned in, even when they were carrying more than anyone knew. We didn’t just make it through the year. We believed our way through it. We believed in each other’s strength, in the power of community, and in the possibility of something better. And through that belief, we grew—together. And that made all the difference. This Is What HOPE Is Sometimes, when you’re in the middle of something, you don’t fully realize just how extraordinary it is. But this year, it became impossible to ignore the power of what HOPE truly represents. HOPE was built for students who need something different—not something less, but something more. More understanding. More flexibility. More support. More connection. We offer an education that meets students where they are, and walks beside them toward wherever it is they want to go. And we do it with heart. With belief in their potential, and the foundation to help them become whatever the future holds. This year, that mission was tested—and it was proven. In the quiet consistency of a mentor who called every morning just to make sure a student logged in. In the parent who didn’t have all the answers but never stopped showing up. In the student who started the year unsure of whether they’d finish at all—and now has a diploma and a celebratory picture to prove otherwise. This is what HOPE looks like. And we are so proud to live out that name every single day. Looking Ahead, Holding On to What Matters As we send off the Class of 2025, we know they carry more than a diploma. They carry memories of a community that believed in them. Of challenges they faced head-on. Of late nights, breakthroughs, and hard conversations. Of people who refused to let them give up. This graduating class is the 20th in HOPE’s history —but for many of our students, they’re also the first. Whether the first in their families to graduate, the first to take on a leadership role in their community, the first to pursue higher education, or the first to define an entirely new path that reflects their own journey—each student in this class has achieved something truly remarkable. As we look to the future, HOPE will continue to grow, adapt, and reach. But we will never lose sight of the foundation we’ve built—one student, one family, one breakthrough at a time. To our students: You’ve worked hard, shown resilience, and arrived at this moment ready to take on the world. You’ve always had what it takes, and now, you carry with you the lessons of not just this school year, but of everything that has shaped you. You are needed, and you belong—more than ever. To our families: Your trust, support, and unwavering belief in your students have been the foundation of everything we do. Thank you for walking alongside us and for sharing your students with us, allowing us to play a part in their journey. To our staff and mentors: The heart you’ve poured into our community and out students immeasurable. Your care, dedication, and commitment have made a lasting impact on every student who has passed through HOPE. Thank you for being the constant, guiding force behind their success. To our supporters: You’ve believed in HOPE’s mission, and through that support, you’ve made this journey possible for so many. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to continue this work and make a lasting impact, together. And to the Class of 2025: You are proof that HOPE is not just an idea—it’s a reality, one that we’ve built together. Now, it’s yours to carry with you, wherever you go. Congratulations! We are so incredibly proud of you, and so honored to have been on this journey with you.

A Legacy of Innovation in Education For nearly two decades, HOPE Online Learning Academy Co-Op has provided students in grades 6-12 with a flexible, structured, and highly supportive educational experience. As a tuition-free public charter school in Colorado, HOPE has helped thousands of students succeed through a blended learning model that combines online coursework with in-person mentorship at community-based Learning Sites. HOPE was founded on the belief that every student deserves an education tailored to their unique learning style and personal goals. With small class sizes, personalized instruction, and a strong network of teachers and mentors, HOPE has built a reputation for fostering academic achievement and personal growth in a way that traditional schooling models often cannot. How HOPE Works: A Blended Learning Model That Puts Students First HOPE’s approach to education blends the flexibility of online coursework with the structure and guidance of in-person instruction. Students engage in an interactive curriculum while receiving individualized attention from experienced educators and mentors who help them stay on track, set goals, and plan for their future. Students at HOPE can choose between two learning options. In-Person Learning Site Students attend a HOPE Learning Site four days a week, where they receive structured online coursework with teacher and mentor support, small-group learning experiences, and access to extracurricular activities. Drop-In Learning Site Students complete all coursework remotely five days a week but have the option to visit a Learning Site for in-person instruction as needed. This flexible model allows students to take ownership of their learning while ensuring they always have access to support when needed. With dedicated teachers, academic mentors, and a strong support system, HOPE ensures that students are never navigating their education alone. The Benefits of HOPE’s Approach HOPE has long served as a trusted alternative for students seeking a more personalized and adaptable learning environment. Whether students need additional academic support, flexible scheduling, or smaller class sizes, HOPE provides a structure that helps every student reach their full potential. Students at HOPE learn at their own pace, allowing them to build confidence and master concepts before moving forward. The school’s focus on career and college readiness means students have multiple pathways to success. The Core24 Diploma Pathway provides a traditional high school diploma that aligns with admission requirements for colleges, trade schools, and the military. The Workforce Ready Diploma is an alternative option designed for students who want to gain real-world job skills and enter the workforce after graduation. Beyond academics, HOPE fosters a strong sense of community and connection. Students receive ongoing mentorship, special education support, and English language learner resources, while also having access to extracurricular activities, sports, and leadership programs. HOPE’s community-based Learning Sites create a welcoming environment where students build meaningful relationships with their peers, educators, and mentors.
