For more than two decades, HOPE has been leading the way in blended learning long before it became a mainstream option. Today, that same pioneering spirit continues to shape how students across Colorado learn, grow, and discover their potential through a mix of online and in person learning at one of our 21 Learning Sites.
A Model Built on Choice and Flexibility
No two students are the same, and HOPE’s learning model reflects that. Each student can design their own learning experience by choosing how to blend online and in-person classes:
- In-Person Learning Sites: Students can attend a community-based Learning Site four days a week for a full school day, receiving structured, face-to-face instruction.
- Drop-In Learning Sites: Students have the option to learn remotely five days a week with the opportunity to visit a Learning Site for in-person individualized instruction as needed.
Some students thrive in the independence of a mostly virtual environment, where they can work at their own pace and manage their schedule around family, work, or personal responsibilities. Others prefer a more traditional school rhythm, attending a Learning Site daily to connect with peers and receive in-person support from educators.
The flexibility of HOPE’S learning model adapts to every student, providing the structure, flexibility, and connection they need to reach their full potential.
Supportive Learning Sites
While online coursework offers flexibility, HOPE’s Learning Sites bring a mix of community and connection to life. With 21 sites located across Colorado, each Learning Site is a welcoming environment where students can collaborate, gain confidence, receive personalized academic support, and build meaningful relationships.
Teachers, mentors, and site leaders work closely with each student to offer guidance and encouragement that keeps them engaged and on track.
Every site also reflects the unique character of its community. Whether urban or rural, large or small, each Learning Site creates a safe space where students feel seen, supported, and valued.
Enrichment and Opportunity Beyond the Classroom
HOPE’s commitment to student growth extends beyond academics. Students are encouraged to explore new interests, develop talents, and engage with their community through a wide range of enrichment opportunities.
From art and music to athletics, student leadership, volunteer programs, and cultural events, HOPE offers experiences that inspire creativity and confidence. Students can participate in annual celebrations like Celebrate HOPE, HOPEcoming, and student showcases.
