Why choose HOPE at Alpha Learning Academy for your Middle or High School Student?
We are an Online Charter School through the Douglas County School district that provides quality education to all our students. We are committed to learning what your child needs to learn and succeed. Diagnostic testing occurs three times each school year. This testing checks for your child’s academic growth and shows our staff what specific interventions are needed for your student to achieve academic growth. Alpha Learning Academy staff communicate with all guardians on a consistent basis, so you are always aware of how your child is doing. Our staff cares deeply about our students and strives to build relationships with them.
The staff at HOPE at Alpha Learning Academy is highly qualified to meet your child's needs. We provide quality interventions for all of our students to bridge academic gaps. Each classroom has a Mentor who works with your student and helps facilitate learning, while a licensed teacher oversees all online curriculum. In addition to classroom mentors, we have a learning specialist on-site to work with students with specific learning needs and a paraprofessional who helps the learning specialist with interventions. There is also a Mental Health Support Counselor or a School Social Worker on-site. The Site Manager or Director keeps it all running smoothly. We strive to provide a protective, healthy, safe environment for all our students and staff.
